Military families save 10%. Mention it when you book.

This is the session most families dream about. Using HD Live technology, we capture your baby yawning, stretching, sucking a thumb, and (if they're feeling generous) smiling. 3D gives you crisp still portraits, 4D adds real-time motion, and HD Live layers in a soft, realistic skin tone and lighting that make the images feel like a first photograph.

The sweet spot is 26 to 32 weeks. Baby has enough fat on their cheeks to look like themselves, but there is still enough room and fluid to get a clear view of the face. We'll help you pick the best date when you book.

Bring the family. Our viewing room has a large screen and comfortable seating so grandparents, partners, and big siblings can watch together.

How to prepare

  • Drink plenty of water in the 3 to 5 days before your visit. Hydration improves fluid clarity more than anything else.
  • Have a light snack or a little juice 20 to 30 minutes before your appointment to wake baby up.
  • Wear a two-piece outfit so we can reach your belly comfortably.

Questions

3D / 4D / HD Live Ultrasound FAQs

What is the difference between 3D, 4D, and HD Live?

3D is a still image with depth. 4D is 3D in motion, so you see baby move in real time. HD Live is an advanced rendering mode that adds a realistic light source and skin tone, giving the image a softer, more photographic look.

What if baby won't show their face?

It happens! We'll try repositioning, a short walk, and a sugary snack. If we still can't get a clear view, you can come back within 7 days for a discounted Return Peek.

Is 3D/4D ultrasound safe?

Keepsake ultrasound uses the same low-intensity sound waves as a diagnostic ultrasound. Our sessions are kept short and follow ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) guidelines. We recommend that you remain under the care of your OB or midwife throughout your pregnancy.
